•Horizontal folds have horizontal fold axis.
•Vertical folds have vertical fold axis.
•Plunging folds have plunging fold axis.
•Reclined folds have a plunging fold axis AND younging pointing downward. |

•Concentric fold have a center of symetry.
•Kink fods have narrow fold hinge relatively to the length of their limbs.
•Ptymatic fold have short limbs relative to the their hingh.
•Box folds somehow have three limbs and two hinges.
•Rootless folds have broken limbs due to shearing. |
