Fold Geometries: Superimposed folds
This is a satellite image showing large and complex folds in the Kimberley (Proterozoic Kimberley Basin, Western Australia).  The red and purple lines show the axial traces of two folds crossing each others. They correspond most likely to two diachronous generation of folding.
